Again, I spend my Friday morning at work preparing my EC Life Planner for the coming week.
This week I tried to stay with a pink/blue theme as Valentines Day is approaching. This week I kept pretty much everything the same. Again at the bottom I used the coffee/hydrate boxes that I use to track my intake of fluids. It's such an accomplishment when I see all my hydrated boxes crossed out, but I also want to make sure for my health reasons, that I limit myself to two cups of coffee! (Even though I love it!)
This week instead of using the EC stickers that came in the back of the planner to mark when bills needed to be paid, I used washi. I really like the look of different patterns of the tape. I used a Recollections version of a blue and pink floral tape, which is just adorable (Michael's impulse buy).
I've also never used washi and stickers to block off a section, but today I decided I would try it. I actually love how it turned out. I will definately be doing that again in the future, but I think I might need to invest on some smaller stickers, but we'll see. Those gold stickers came out of the Dollar Spot at Target (don't try to get them in the Chili Target, I cleared them out, haha).
Obviously you can see the two birthdays I have this week that I've blocked off so I can remember to make their cards (will be posting about those tomorrow) and get them their gifts. I also blocked off work.. I really don't need to keep putting it in as my schedule never changes, but I love using the washi and knowing when I have time for other things.
I have yet to fill it out with school assignments and such, but I will be doing that after I'm done with that blog, I'm sure you don't want to know my reading assignments or when my papers are due.
Well, that's all for now. I hope I've helped some of you with your planners :)

Since I started my Masters Degree this January, I haven't been able to spend much time with the crafting supplies. I received a Cricut- Expression craft machine for Christmas this year and HAD to try it out. When going through a list of free cartridges, I found this "Forever & Ever" cut. Now, this is important to me because my boyfriend and I always say that to each other (it's just our thing, haha). So I made him this card. I was so impressed with this machine and the way it was able to do this. I wish I had this before Christmas while I did my Christmas Cards; the possibilities could have been endless! Another thing I loved about it, was that I could make the cuts using whatever paper I wanted to which allowed me to be much more creative and match the pattern of the letters to the envelope. Needless to say, Derek loved his card! I can't wait to spend more time with the machine and to see all it has to offer me :)
